Me.
I'm Maarja, an industrial and product designer based in Tallinn, with more than eight years of experience bringing ideas from early concepts into production.
My background is in designing products where form, function and technology need to work together. I've worked with complex physical products that combine mechanical components, electronics, housing design and user interfaces, as well as digital products and experiences.
I enjoy projects that require understanding the bigger picture, balancing user needs, technical constraints, materials and manufacturing possibilities — turning concepts into technically feasible, manufacturable physical products, from electronics to furniture. My approach combines research, creative exploration and practical problem-solving, with a growing interest in how AI can support the design process.
The work shown here is a selection of my experience. Based in Estonia, I work remotely with manufacturers, brands, startups and product development teams across Europe, on freelance, contract and project-based industrial design and product development. For additional projects, a portfolio tailored to your interests or a new brief, feel free to get in touch.
